Truth be told it’s not always easy to make a plan and stick to it when you have A.D.H.D. however, I’m reminded of the saying my mom always had on her bathroom mirror that read, “There are no excuses, only choices.” It’s 100% the truth. Can it be harder when you have an attention deficit problem… sure but then there are times of hyper-focus when it’s a breeze! I have made myself a schedule but you know even if I didn’t have an attention problem there are still days when life happens.
Here’s my basic plan though… as I mentioned on the homepage my goal is to make $240 a day. I’m starting slow and building my way up. That said in January I want to make $20 a day, February $40 a day and so on until I get to my ultimate goal in December of making the $240 a day.
I plan to achieve this in several ways. Side hustles like DoorDash, selling on Etsy, Facebook Marketplace and eBay, blogging and posting videos. Oh, and I also have a book I’m writing in the mix. While DoorDash is nice and allows me freedom to make my own schedule the odds of me making my end goal is slim with just that so I’d like to build my blogs so that they are producing more and more each month.
Why not just find one thing and stick with it? Great question! I want to work with my problem and not against it by giving myself a variety of projects I feel my chances of getting “stuck” will be less. Call me fickle and I will own it! I like to have a choice of what to do on any given day. Across the board I have small projects and large projects… Remember “only choices” I’m setting myself up with many of them! I believe this could also allow me to see what is working and what’s not but kind of all at once rather than trying on thing at a time. I’m going to have pots of spaghetti going on every burner.
So onto the blog here! I do plan to post daily for my own accountability. I’d love for you to share in my journey and I’m not going to lie I will probably monetize this site as well. You know the old saying about not putting all your eggs in one basket… well why shouldn’t I have as many piggy banks as possible!
